Off to Med School

My office has had a Medical Student shadowing our doctor all summer, he quickly became a member of the office. Anyway today is his last day before he heads back to Virginia for school so we had a little good by party for him.

Busy Weekend......

This has been a busy weekend for cake making at our house. We have completed 3 of the 4. The last one doesn't have to be completed till tomorrow so you can see pictures of it later or when I get it done.
One of my dear friends from growing up asked me to make 2 cakes for her boyfriend returning from over seas, we came up with the army star on top of Scotch-a-roo rice krispy treats because he's not a huge cake fan and the Mopar sign on top of chocolate cake. This was really fun for me because I was also friends with him while growing up, hopefully he liked them. I haven't heard yet.




I also got to make one for my Grandpa's birthday. He is a farmer/cowboy so this is what I came up with. I am delivering it this afternoon, I actually get to eat part of this one which is really unusual.
